Newly renovated park home to yoga series for Port Richmond community
Philadelphia – August, 15th 2019 – River wards residents have a new reason to visit the river. Pulaski Park (3001 E. Allegheny Ave) will play host to a new series of yoga classes as the result of a collaboration by nonprofits Riverfront North Partnership and Roots2Rise. The series will kick off on Tuesday, September 3rd, and continue every Tuesday night until October 8th. Classes will start at 6pm in the oval portion at the riverside edge of the park.
“We are excited to partner with Roots2Rise to bring this great opportunity to the river wards community” said Riverfront North Partnership’s Program Manager, Brian Green. “Roots2Rise has had success across many Philadelphia neighborhoods with their classes, so we are excited to bring their expertise and energy here to Port Richmond. We believe the newly refurbished Pulaski Park is a beautiful place to practice yoga.”
Classes are free, but donations are welcome and help sustain future classes across the city.
General information about the series can be found on our YOGA PAGE.
