The Same Day, Work & Pay program, made possible by The Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity and Riverfront North, was introduced and began in spring 2025. This workforce development program is designed to provide a no to low barrier employment opportunity to vulnerable groups within Philadelphia, while creating access to critical services and supports. SDWP seeks to create an on-ramp to workforce training, sustainable employment, and increasing social capital to support long-term self-sufficiency and success for all individuals served.
Stewards of the Port Richmond Trail
Eligible Philly residents join us to receive daily pay for three-hour shifts, helping to control litter and perform other light maintenance focused around the Port Richmond Trail on Delaware Avenue, and the K+T Trail with a focus on connector streets like Magee Avenue and Devereaux Avenue.
