Become a Trailblazer

Be a Part of Riverfront North’s Success Story!

For over 20 years, Riverfront North has worked to steward 11-miles of green space along the Delaware River in Northeast Philadelphia, from Port Richmond to the Bucks County line. That’s a lot of ground to cover for RNP’s small but mighty team, and our Trailblazers are a huge part of the progress that has been made since 2004.

So, what does it mean to be a Trailblazer? It could mean joining a community dedicated to the north Delaware River’s parks and trails, dedicating your time to ensure that the environment around you is healthier for generations to come, or perhaps it simply means you love coming to one of our 250+ free outdoor programs every year and want them to continue.

No matter what being a Trailblazer means to you, your support means the world to us and goes further than you realize.

Business Trailblazers

Do you have or work at a business along the greenway? You can become a Business Trailblazer with RNP starting at a $500 donation. Becoming a Trailblazer with RNP means we will elevate your business, you’ll be the first to know about exciting news at RNP, plus you will play an active part in the betterment of the community you serve!

What do Business Trailblazers do?

  • They can host a volunteer day for employees with RNP!
  • Receive recognition in our monthly newsletter.
  • Sponsor a workday, provide program materials, make sure volunteers have snacks

Align your gift so that is both meaningful to your mission.

There is also the option to apply for an Environmental Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

Thank you to our 2026 Business Trailblazers!

Your Trailblazer contributions help us to…

Host 250+ free, outdoor programs along the Greenway for neighbors to enjoy each year.

RNP partners with program leaders to bring you a catalogue of accessible outdoor events throughout the year. From yoga to biking to kayaking to birding, there is always something going on along the Riverfront North Greenway, and we invite you to come and spend some time along the river with us!

Plant hundreds of new trees and shrubs, adding to Philly’s urban canopy and contributing to cooler and cleaner air.

Abundant trees and shrubs promote healthy ecosystems and habitats for wildlife, as well as cooler and cleaner air for the city’s residents. On a hot day, the shade of a tree can reduce the temperature by up to 10 degrees!

Design, construct, and open Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park in Bridesburg, the eighth and final park along the Greenway.

This park went from an overgrown industrial lot to a busy and thriving community recreation hub. Much of RNP’s programming has found its home at Borski Park. Conceptual design began in 2015 and the park opened to the public in July 2025.

Complete a vital streambank restoration project to protect the Delaware River.

The Pennypack Creek Streambank Restoration project took place toward the end of 2024 and stabilized 250 feet of the south bank below the Baxter Trail Bridge, where severe erosion had eaten away at the shoreline, threatening the creekside trail and riparian forest.

*Both individual gifts and business gifts are active for one year. Business gifts begin at the $500 level. Please reach out to our Development Associate, Celia Myerov at celia@riverfrontnorth.org if you are interested in pursuing a partnership.
