TreePhilly & Riverfront North Partnership need your help planting and distributing trees at Pennypack on the Delaware!

Join RNP and TreePhilly for a morning of all things trees on Saturday, October 19th! Help contribute to a prosperous tree canopy in Philadelphia by attending a fall planting at Pennypack on the Delaware. Gloves, tools, and instruction will all be provided – come out to meet some likeminded folks, learn about a couple local organizations in your city, and make a difference in one of your city parks. We’ll meet at 9am to get the planting party started.

Additionally, there will be a tree giveaway starting at 10am that will include an array of different trees to choose from, including: White Oaks, Black Gums, American Holly, Appalachian Snow Dogwoods, and more. On Saturday, October 19th, from 10:00 am to 3 pm TreePhilly and Riverfront North Partnerships will be hosting our Fall Northeast Philly Regional Yard-tree giveaway event. We have two shifts available for volunteers to help distribute trees to your neighbors. We will distribute free shade, fruit and flowering trees to be planted in Philadelphia! The event will take place: 

Saturday, October 19th, 2024, 10AM-3PM, at Pennypack on the Delaware, 7801 State Rd., Phila PA 19136 

There are two shifts listed. We are in need of volunteers to help us set up for the event, help distribute trees and assist with event clean up.
