A Bridesburg Tradition Returns to Borski Park

July kicked off with the return of a Bridesburg tradition, held at Borski Park for the very first time!

To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, the Friends of Borski Park brought back the Patriotic Bike Decorating Parade! Despite the heatwave, the community excitedly arrived to the park on the evening of July 1st with their decked-out bikes, strollers, and scooters in tow.

Thank you to The Ice Cream Post for providing the hot dogs, Browns Family ShopRite for providing the chips, ice pops, pretzels, and water, and thank you to the judges, Noel and Ron from Kirkbride Arts for doing the tough job of having to pick just one winner from all these creations. And of course, thank you to the Friends group for the organization of bringing this event back to the community.
