Become a Trailblazer – Take Us to the River!

The Delaware River is essential. It is teeming with life from fish to birds, and it provides 60% of the drinking water for Philadelphia. We need your support to protect and care for it. Join us as a Trailblazer to protect the health of the Delaware River and all that depends on it. This year we are expanding our riverfront access with the groundbreaking of our newest park in Bridesburg and the expansion of the K&T Trail in Tacony. These spaces will boast beautiful views of the river while also giving you a glimpse into the industry of the past.
We met Brian at Pennypack on the Delaware as he was enjoying a peaceful walk in the park.
“I was born and raised here, I live in Holmesburg and I’m embarrassed to say I only found out about this place and started coming here four years ago. The water is tranquil to me, that’s why I’m here. The river is tranquility. I’m a cancer survivor and the river brings me peace.”
Become a Trailblazer and keep these spaces by the river thriving.
Join our Trailblazers and become a member of the community committed to supporting the river and native habitats it provides. Come see the river for yourself! From programming to peaceful vistas, Riverfront North has something for you. Join our Trailblazers and support our efforts of keeping the river available and accessible for all our communities!

MEET BRENDA AND BELLA

“We’re from Holmesburg, we love riding her bike around here, there are so many safe paths to go on. Over the years I’ve seen the park get better and better. We like the river being here because she likes to watch the boats go by, just a little while ago we saw a pirate ship coming down!

MEET ABBY

Abby was with her brothers and parents fishing at Lardner’s Point Park right by the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge along the K&T trail. They live nearby and come by to fish often!
