New Archery Program Announced!
Through our partnership with Riverfront North and our Community Engagement Collaboration with Friends of the Wissahickon, Let’s Go Outdoors is offering FREE Drop-In Archery events. These programs are an opportunity to have fun learning how to SAFELY use a bow and arrow to shoot a target, with the added bonus of getting to know a local park or organization.
Capacity:
Participation is 1st-come-1st serve until we reach capacity, or 30 minutes before end time (if there are people waiting).
Registration:
Registration is not required, but helpful for planning. It is also used to contact you if there is a schedule change.
Time(s):
Drop-in during the timeframe specified, but know that you may need to wait for your turn (a great time to explore the park).
Ages:
All ages (ideally 8 years or older for easier use of bow and arrow) – no drop-offs, as parent assistance will be required
NOTE: This event will be conducted in a way that promotes COVID precautions. We ask that all participants do what is comfortable for them regarding wearing face coverings/masks and practicing social distancing if unvaccinated.
