We are excited to announce that Riverfront North Partnership is a #PlayEverywherePhilly winner! This award from Kaboom!, funded by the William Penn Foundation, will help us bring playful learning to Bridesburg with our “UnOrthodox” project, and make it easier for families to incorporate play into their everyday routines. The project will be initially set up at Bridesburg Recreation Center and then move to the site of the future Riverfront Park in Bridesburg at Orthodox St. and Delaware Ave. The interactive installation will feature nature based STeM activities for kids that highlight the Delaware River and its ecosystem. The planning process will happen throughout the winter with an anticipated installation in Spring of 2021. Stay tuned for updates on this project.
