Tacony Boat Launch Redesign – Take Our Survey!

We’re excited to announce that Riverfront North Partnership (RNP) and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation are working to design an improved Tacony Boat Launch that better meets the needs of our community – and that includes YOU!

This project to reimagine the Tacony Boat Launch site on Princeton Avenue, is officially underway and the next phase is kicking off with a series of Pop-Up events that will be taking place during the coming weeks. These events are a chance for residents to weigh in on everything from accessing the site to activities and programming at the park. Don’t miss this important opportunity to make your feedback heard! The project goals for the new park are to better serve the area, improve access to the Delaware River, and incorporate new programming opportunities. We can’t do it without you!

About Riverfront North Partnership and the Tacony Boat Launch:

Riverfront North Partnership’s goal is to complete and sustain the riverfront trail and network of parks along the Delaware River that connects residents of urban neighborhoods to nature, offering unparalleled recreational, community building, and environmental education activities.

The Tacony waterfront park and boat launch is being redesigned to better serve the area, improve access to the Delaware, and incorporate new programming opportunities. The goals of the project are to connect the park and boat launch to a new segment of the Kensington & Tacony Trail (coming soon!) and to better meet the current needs of the community.
