This November, we had a great time with the after-school program children from Bridesburg Recreation Center creating trivets designed with leaves from the site of the future riverfront park in Bridesburg (a former concrete factory). This activity helped the children connect the historical past of the site with the nature of the future park that will be constructed in their neighborhood.
