New Funding For Bridesburg Riverfront Park

Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has just announced a $250,000 grant to the future riverfront park in Bridesburg. With this grant, the total raised towards the $4.7 million Phase 1 construction costs is $3.2 million.

This funding from DCNR brings the Bridesburg neighborhood one step closer to the river that they were cut off from so many years ago. With leadership support from The William Penn Foundation, Riverfront North Partnership is working with the Bridesburg community, and a committee of Bridesburg residents, to drive the future of this park.
