On The Delaware Music Festival Saturday June 30th

Northeast Philly, this is the event you’ve been waiting for! We are proud to present ON THE DELAWARE, part of Wawa Welcome America‘s week-long celebration of our nation. We’ll have 15 bands on 2 stages at Pennypack on the Delaware, yoga on the pier with Marghi Insignares (10am), a kid’s corner with activities all day including a guest visit from everyone’s favorite DJ, Kathy O’Connell from Kids Corner on WXPN (1-3pm). The festival will also include arts and specialty goods vendors, a community and civic corridor and more! Check out all of the details below!

DIRECTIONS:

Driving From the North: Take I-95 South, use exit 30 – Cottman Ave. Turn right on Bleigh, then turn right on State Road. Go .04 miles.

Driving From the South: Take I-95 North, use exit 30 – Cottman Ave. Turn right to head north on State Road.

By Regional Rail: Take the SEPTA Trenton Line, get off at the Holmesburg Jct stop. Walk .02 miles east on Rhawn St. until you get to State Road.

By Bus: Take the SEPTA 84 Bus. Get off at Rhawn St. + State Road intersection.

By Bicycle: Cycling is a great way to navigate to the park. Access from the Pennypack Trail via Pennypack Path or via the Baxter Trail which can be picked up at Pleasant Hill Park or State Road at Linden Ave (Note that the Baxter Trail opens at 8am and closes promptly at 8pm).

RIDE SHARE:

You should be able to enter “Pennypack on the Delaware Park” as a destination. (If not, the closest address to use is 7750 State Road). You will be able to be dropped off at the entrance gate to the park halfway down Pennypack Path.

 

NOTE ON PARKING:

The parking lot inside of the actual park will be closed off to make this a safe and fun event. Free parking will be available at the property immediately south of the park on the east side of State Road (7737 State Road) and concert attendees will be able to walk down Pennypack Path to the festival. Alternatively, concert goers can be dropped off at the entrance gate. This access road will only be open for drop-offs.

*Handicap parking will be available inside of the park for those with handicap tags.

*Please note it is more than a quarter mile walk from the parking lot to the event

Any sealed (un-opened) non-alcoholic beverages (non-glass)

Lawn Chairs

Empty water bottles/Camelbacks

Pets on leashes (must abide by standard Philadelphia City park rules)

Opened beverage containers (will need to be thrown out or finished at entrance gate)

We will have a free water jug, water for sale at food trucks and the beer tent as well as a misting station to cool down.
